I entered law school later than many, about six years after graduating from undergrad. During those years I wore many hats, from being a youth pastor to running background checks. I chose to pursue a career in law because I saw how the criminal justice system could harm employment and housing prospects years after justice had been served.

I graduated from New England Law | Boston on the Dean’s List. Additionally, I was on the Public Service Honor Roll for completing over twenty-five hours of volunteer legal work during the academic year. This was accomplished by my position as a Team Lead in the CORI Initiative which helps to seal criminal records to help clients secure employment and housing.

After graduating I began my full-time career with Ruane DUI & Criminal Defense Attorneys working on Wrongful Conviction cases where I am able to defend the rights of our clients and correct the wrongs of the criminal justice system.

Working for Ruane DUI & Criminal Defense Attorneys has allowed me to achieve my goal of helping those ensnared in a criminal justice system that can often leave you feeling isolated and afraid. I am able to help those who feel trapped in the system and be a voice for those who feel the system has taken their own.
