Kalani Dodd

I recently joined Ruane Attorneys as a Client Intake Specialist. I enjoy being one of the first points of contact for prospective clients and helping individuals navigate what is often a stressful and uncertain time in their lives. I am passionate about listening to people, understanding their concerns, and helping connect them with the legal support they need.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies through American Military University and hope to attend law school in the future. I previously earned my Associate Degree from a community college in Spokane, Washington.

My professional background is diverse and includes entrepreneurship, client service, advocacy, and writing. I am the owner of The Mother Loaf, an Arizona-based business, and I also hold an Arizona cosmetology license after attending beauty school in Tucson, Arizona.

Outside of my work at Ruane DUI & Criminal Defense Attorneys, I am an independent writer and publisher on Substack, where I write about legal issues, family court systems, and access to justice. I am currently working on a series titled Inside the System: Between the Lines, which explores the realities people face when navigating complex legal and governmental systems.

As a business owner, writer, student, and mother, I bring a unique perspective to my work and am deeply committed to helping others through challenging circumstances. My long-term goal is to continue expanding my legal education and advocacy work while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those I serve.

In my free time, I am a devoted mother to two children and enjoy spending time outdoors, particularly on the water. Whether exploring the Pacific Northwest or enjoying time with family and  friends, I value opportunities to connect with nature and create lasting memories with my children.
