Attorney Bio
I was born in Colombia and raised in the U.S. with a deep understanding of the immigrant experience. This background has shaped my view of the law not just as a profession, but as a necessary shield. My drive to practice law comes from a desire to fight inequality and, frankly, to ensure that law enforcement is held to the highest standard. I believe that police and government agencies must be checked, and I take great satisfaction in being the one to stand in their way when they overstep.
Before joining Ruane DUI & Criminal Defense Attorneys, I worked in the non-profit sector specializing in immigration law, handling complex Asylum, Family-Based, and Humanitarian cases. This experience taught me how to navigate high-stakes systems where a client’s entire future is on the line. I have since brought that “fighter” mentality to criminal defense, where I enjoy the intellectual challenge of attempting to dismantle a prosecutor’s case.
At Ruane DUI & Criminal Defense Attorneys, I am part of the “South-pod” team, primarily defending clients in the Bridgeport, Danbury, and Stamford courthouses.
When I am not in court, I enjoy playing light soccer, traveling, and exploring the local food and concert scenes.
