Like many people, I wasn’t sure what my dream job was.

So, I worked in a few different fields before joining the Ruane Attorneys team. When I heard about Ruane Attorneys and their job opportunities, I was working as a nanny. I had never even thought about law or becoming a paralegal. But learning more about the position at Ruane Attorneys that was open, it sounded like work would always be busy and interesting and that’s what caught my interest. 

I started with Ruane Attorneys as a member of the Intake Team. I now also work on opening DUI cases, criminal cases, and motor vehicle cases. I also handle follow ups with clients, consult with the DMV on cases, and I am a notary public, so I can notarize documents. 

My position with the firm has evolved over time as I have learned more about the legal field and been able to take on more responsibility. I look forward to seeing how my role continues to change as our firm grows. 

But no matter how my responsibilities change, my favorite part about working for the firm is being able to talk to the clients and making them feel better about a bad situation they are in. Everyone makes mistakes, and I believe that everyone deserves a second chance.

I am passionate about my job and helping others. I am also passionate about my family and making sure I can help provide and support them as much as they do me. I got married in 2016, and enjoy spending time with my husband, our daughter, and our dogs, Maverick, Maxi, and Lexi.
