I am a graduate student majoring in Clinical Psychology while working full-time at Ruane DUI & Criminal Defense Attorneys. As a child, I loved stories where princes saved princesses by slaying dragons and defeating evil queens. But growing up in the Philippines, I quickly realized that life is rarely that simple. I still remember sitting in a courtroom, hearing a judge hand down a life sentence to a boy my age—despite clear signs that he might have been struggling with mental health issues. That moment shaped me. At 19, I resolved to pursue psychology, not only as a science that explains human behavior but also as a tool that must work hand-in-hand with the law, since both shape the narratives of people’s lives.

I am particular about the choices I make—from the food I eat, to the friends I keep, to the jobs I take. That’s why my journey at Ruane DUI & Criminal Defense Attorneys, starting as a Receptionist and later joining the Legal team, has been among the most fulfilling experiences of my career. Though I am still new to this industry, I thrive in meeting new people and cultivating meaningful connections. My earlier roles as a counselor and university professor, where I taught Abnormal Psychology, Psychological Statistics, and Ethics, have honed my resilience, adaptability, and sharp attention to detail.

At my core, I am a dreamer. I live countless lives through books and video games, and working at Ruane DUI & Criminal Defense Attorneys feels like one of those dreams brought to life.
