Fingerprint Cards

A fingerprint card needs to be completed and presented to the State Police as part of your pardon application. We provide our pardon clients with fingerprint cards, and it is their responsibility to have their fingerprints done. The fingerprint card includes basic information, and then spots where the fingerprints go. The fingerprint card must be filled out before a person can receive a full criminal history.

Background Investigation

Before filling out the pardon application, it is required that you know of all of your prior crimes in any jurisdiction and the dates of those convictions. You need to know these things so that you can provide this information on your pardon application. Failing to list all of the prior convictions or the dates could result in a denial of the pardon application. Because of this, it can be helpful to have an attorney help with the pardon process. The background investigation release form must be signed.
