We primarily work on criminal defense cases, which means that we are highly knowledgeable in criminal law. Our firm has over twenty combined years of experience. We have seen all kinds of criminal cases and strive to defend our clients to the best of our abilities.
Consultations
We also offer a free consultation, which means that you can get legal advice from us without retaining our services. Most of our cases (95%) are resolved pretrial. This means that 95% of our clients only pay the initial fee for our services. The initial fee is discussed on a case-by-case basis; however, we make a conscious effort to keep our fees affordable. If your case does go to trial, we charge on a flat fee basis. This means that you won’t deal with any hidden fees. We will tell you the flat fee before you decide to hire us, so you know exactly what you are getting into. No matter how many times we appear in court for you, and no matter how many hours of work we put into your case, you will only be charged that one, flat fee.
Our Fees
In addition, we accept many different kinds of payment and you do not have to pay all at once. We accept personal checks, bank checks, credit cards (American Express, Visa, Discover, Mastercard) and cash. In addition, if a third party wants to pay your legal fee, we can make a payment agreement in order to allow this. Even if someone else is paying us to represent you, we will only discuss your case with you. The third party does not need to know anything about your case.
If you decide to pay by credit card, you will be charged in three installments. The first installment will be 50% of your total fees, to be paid on the day that you retain us. The additional payments will be made during the two months that follow. Both payments will be 25% of the total fee. If you would like to create a special payment plan to meet your needs, we try to be flexible. Talk to one of our attorneys about making payments in multiple installments.
